Paul
F. Boulos
Paul F. Boulos is President and COO of MWH Soft. Over
the years, he has managed and directed projects ranging
from master planning and regional water quality studies
to large IT integration projects. Dr. Boulos is a recognized
world-leading expert on hydraulic and water quality engineering,
has published over 200 technical papers and engineering
reports, taught specialist short courses, and has won
many prestigious honors, including technical awards from
the American Society of Civil Engineers ASCE), the American
Water Works Association (AWWA), and the US Environmental
Protection Agency (USEPA). Additionally, he has served
on technical review committees for several municipal drinking
water projects throughout the United States, Canada and
South America and is a Consultant to the USEPA Science
Advisory Board Drinking Water Committee. |

Kevin E. Lansey
Kevin E. Lansey is a Professor in the Department of Civil
Engineering and Engineering Mechanics and an adjunct faculty
in the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources at
the University of Arizona. Dr. Lansey has conducted research
on a range of water resources problems with emphasis on
water distribution and systems analysis. This work has
resulted in over 100 publications and based on his contributions
he was awarded the ASCE Huber Civil Engineering Research
Prize for Young Researchers in 2002. For five years, he
served as Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Water
Resources Planning and Management including working as
co-editor on the special issue on Water Distribution Systems.
Dr. Lansey has been recognized with three teaching awards. |

Bryan W. Karney
Bryan W. Karney is a Professor of Civil Engineering at
the University of Toronto, Canada. For many years, Dr.
Karney has undertaken research and consultancy on various
aspects of transient flows, published over 100 technical
papers, taught specialist short courses and been invited
as keynote speaker at several international conferences.
He has been an Associate Editor for the Journal of Hydraulic
Engineering for the ASCE since 1993. Dr. Karney was selected
"Professor of the Year" in Civil Engineering
in 2000 and won the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering
Teaching Award in 2001-02. He is an active participant
in the Canadian Water Network (a federal NCE) and considered
a world expert in transient flow modeling. |
